I put a shock absorber seat post on my mtb, and left it a little loose in the adjustment, so it will move a little left and right while pedaling. Also put an inflatable seat cover on it. Takes some of the stress off my skinny butt. I also put an 8" handlebar stem extension and aero bars on it to relieve the numbness from the carpal tunnel syndrome I have in both wrists. OH yeah, and it's a cheap BB store bike. Let the hating begin.....LOL

Don't care to criticize, but still.... What's the deal with the long steerer above the stem (or, more precisely, steerer extender)? I see that he's using a shock absorbing stem, and the handlebars are mounted to that. But what is mounted on top of the steerer? Is the phone mounted there? Is so, is this some sort of conscious design decision: to have the bars "floating" independently of the phone?
Or is it just an illusion, and the phone is sitting on the bars? In that case, what are we seeing on top of the steerer there?

Clipless pedals, and a duct-tape and packing foam seat…ing…area? Wow.
I hope he finds much joy in his creation.

(tbf, I actually HAVE met Larry in person and said so well over a year ago. He reminds me of a Golden Retriever - big, friendly, blond, full of enthusiasm rather than wisdom, but won't let that stop him)

I would not mind meeting Larry in person, but preferably at a pub; I do not have the bike handling skills, power, or sufficient life insurance to ride with him.

If I had a friend who tried to ride with my on that I would have to ask them politely yet firmly to leave. You don't show up at Hank Hill's house with a bag of charcoal, I tell you what.

I wonder how many here have had PROSTATE ISSUES and having said issues continue to ride EVEN when using a FOLEY CATHETER with BAG??? I have done so riding the EASY SEAT and will say that the seat ON the bike pictured looks as if it would have been more comfortable.

One of the people that has invented a seat like the Easy Seat also made a training movie that I was forced to watch. Fully 1/3 of the movie was about how cyclists were so set in their ways they didn't adopt his seat, even though they are wonderful and the best seat ever. I had previously put one on a bike for someone, and when I test rode it, it was the most excruciatingly painful seat I have ever ridden on. Barely got out of the parking lot of the bike shop before I wished I had made better life choices. This guy is apparently a "futurist" according to his linkdin

Maybe I'll be hated a little less now.....Since I've been riding for quite a while after retiring, my back is feeling stronger so I pulled the stem extender and shortened the brake cables/housing. Here's a before and after.

Glad to see the warts your seat contracted have cleared up.

As mentioned above, I know a guy who had something similar due to a prostate issue. His was smaller. The saddle, I mean.

FYI my buddy stated that he went with that seat setup because when he first started riding, his research indicated potential perineum issues and he didn’t want to take any chances
