Hello from N. Illinois

Hello out there.
Maybe last riding days of year for me. One more tomorrow. Road today on a railroad trail locally near Roscoe, IL. Just 15 miles today.

I'm in early 70's. Anyone near that knows some chalanges in life.

Just hit 74 a short while ago and still doing 25 miles/day 5 or 6 days a week. But I won't have the weather that you've got coming your way or I'd be looking into spending much more time on a trainer. Enjoy the forums here, lot's of good people and info.

Welcome OG8, I lived in Roscoe, IL 1974-76, born, '52, and raised in Rockford/Loves Park, where I visit family occasionally. I've been in Delaware since '76. One of my favorites rides in that area is the MUP going into and around Rock Cut State Park, and connects with the Perryville road MUP. I make it to that area occasionally.

Welcome. I grew up in Lake County but have made it to S. IL. I know all about that 70's stuff.... Still do 15 miles, several times per week, with a river bluff climb in there for good measure. We call it "Hell's Hill".

Thanks for welcomes.

Thanks for making me feel welcome.
I have to increase the post count to ten, before allowed to post pics from recent rides. I'll work on that.

I was out riding each day this last week. Max of 15 miles a day. Was going to post a couple pics. Later I will.

I casually road with a bike club, 15 years ago. Would be a little much now. Condition and arthritis withstanding.
