The friends I did the Mallorca 312 with are talking about trying the Tour de Tucson which they tout as a 4 hour 100 mile event.

The reason I will pass on Tucson is that I think too many people on the course pushing the pace increases risk for crashes.
I would rather just ride with my 5 friends at a sustainable pace, but I suspect that's not how it works.
