You might want to mention CTC or CTT Mike. And maybe the top tube measure?

What a great deal! I have one that came in with frame damage (broken dropout) that has been repaired. But I cannot create the same bike you have here for anywhere near the price. There has to be someone here on the forums who will love this easy riding and well healed bike. Good luck with thinning the herd. Smiles, MH

well boy howdy, that is a smokin deal especially with the new chain, cassette, SLX, and cables. I gotta get my De Rosa up and running before i buy any more racey Italian bikes, but at this price it's hard to resist.

Can you post some close-up pics of that uneven black pain spot (and other similar spots)? Am I correct in assuming they are rust spots that were painted over?

FYI, this is a super bargain - these components are a later version of Chorus which utilized the gorgeous Croce d'aune crankset and the perfected post-Syncro 8 speed index system. Great frame, great bike.

What size are the tires out of curiosity?
Are those Campy Athena brake levers?

Depends. Those are the monoplanar brakes originally from Chorus. At some point later they were used with Athena and other groups when Chorus got double pivots. The original Athena calipers are much heavier.

A cm or two too big for me, and I really don't need another SLX frame. But oh so tempting.
