oh we got a snarky one here guys
EDIT: I should add that I'm a first time parent, and that we had trouble getting all the way through a successful pregnancy before this one stuck. So maybe I'm a bit hypervigilant and sensitive to the subject matter of your joke. Maybe I'll be able to have a laugh in kind when she is a snot nosed toddler. Do you have kids?

I'll make you a deal. We work on getting a grip, you work on being nicer and more sensitive. We can meet in the middle. Have a nice day

I said < 2 minutes to provide a conservative estimate, of which half a minute is spent retrieving the broom handle, setting the clamp on my work stand to horizontal, and clamping the broom handle. And theoretically I suppose I do not need to do both sides of the chain as long as I got the chain orientation correct. So I guess I can get it down to 30 seconds?

Regarding cycling, both my wife and I failed to teach my son how to ride a bike, even though her friend accomplished that in an hour a few months later. It is humbling to be a parent.

Thanks! A balance bike is in the future for sure when she reaches toddler age. For now, mom has brought her down several times when I'm on the trainer to let her check things out Complete with waxed chain!

I've always wondered how much lube is actually going inside the rollers when you use the conventional lubricating method which is to put one drop on each rollers while back pedaling. I'm sure you waste a lot.

+1. I guess submerging your chain in regular lube would do a good job too in terms of noise and mechanical efficiency, but it wouldn't solve the dirt attraction problem.

What are Your experiences with campagnolo 11s or 12s chains immersive waxing ?
Are these chains teflon coated ? Does teflon affects waxing ?
My campagnolo record 9s chain was still loud and vibrafting after immersive waxing... in contrast to shimano chains.

Just Pedaling
That makes me wonder if or how you cleaned it before wax treatment. I've wondered if taking a new chain with the factory goo on it and just dropping it into a pot of super heated wax and leaving it for an hour would displace the goo enough for the wax to get into all the rollers and pins. I might try that with my next new chain. If it doesn't work, I can always clean it and start over.
