Don’t let the name fool you. So much crap that isn’t auto related.

tomorrow is the last day. Prices are usually half.

Hey, $95. I don’t know how rare it is, but oval tubing, Areo bits.

$400 firm?? Yeah right.

I ended up with some Bike Ribbon Bar Tape in yellow and white ($1 each) and two sets of Christophe toe clips ($1 a pair, they have tons).

I might have offered $50 or 60 for the Peugeot simply because I’d like a bike with those shifters.

Well… an early ‘70’s Super Sport in perfect shape might be worth that. That item looks dusty but in good shape. I bought one (without the wheels) for $75 a few years ago. It’s my 3-speed town bike now.

The Peugeot looks to need a complete restoration.

Saw one of these local, same condition (maybe a little better), in this same size, and same rare (magenta?) color. Original Brooks saddle. Was $125 for weeks and weeks and it tempted me but decided it was too much. Ad eventually disappeared so someone probably picked it up, but it sat for a long time.

I wish those yellow ones with the perforations would fit aluminum bars but alas, only the skinny steel bars are they meant for.

I have a blue set. PS… jealous of the Jumbles you have to go to!

The vintage road bike market has been down for a while now. I saw a 70’s Motobecane Grand Jubile’ on CL for $99 with Campagnolo NR derailleurs , bar cons and a nice set of 700c wheels. It took months for it to sell. Some high end bikes sell but very hit and miss.

"About 1965". The '65 catalog shows the Super Sport without extension levers or stem shifters. Those are bike boom things, years later.

"$400 Firm". Hopefully, this went back home.

Man, I have an odd desire for a mid 80's aero tubed steel bike. Very cool.
