Purchased this a couple weeks ago. Went from titanium with Ultegra on alloy clinchers to pretty much the opposite. But I absolutely love the ride so far!

Blue Bella came out nice, I think.
Looks great! Probably one of the best looking bicycles in the past few pages of this thread (not plastic, which is always a win). That's a very unusual mixte frame. Fairly short chainstays, it looks like the frame geometry is very similar to typical racing frames rather than touring frames.

Can you believe she got dissed in the Hot or Not thread? Maybe it was the Tourney derailleurs I had on. Prejudice is a terrible thing...

The wheelbase is just 1/8" longer than my old racing bike, and it's not just the chainstays - I had to get my first 165mm crankset ever, to avoid toe overlap!

She's a fun ride. I like her looks so much I've been carrying a water bottle in my pocket to avoid cluttering her up!

Most of the mixte frames I see on evilBay are low level ones and fairly short. If there's one with Vitus or Reynolds tubing, tall and with proper dropouts, they tend to be way too expensive, which is why I don't have a mixte frame. Which is a bit of a shame, as that would be a great commuting bike.
It looks compact and should be pretty responsive, by the look of things. As for shorter cranks, apparently good for one's knees Happy riding!
As for Tourney derailleuirs, in my experience they work pretty well and do what they are supposed to do. My general preference would be an older upper level derailleur from the late 80's to mid 90's (say, Tiagra, 105 / Ultegra) because one can be had for the price of a new Tourney / Altus and they are better built. But other than that, there's nothing wrong with Tourney. That being said, only one of my bicycles has indexed shifting and I'm switching it to friction as well later this year.

For the winter mostly road my Aethos because of the bigger tires, threaded BB, and because it's simply lighter so doing elevation training on it was easier. The Scott Foil I have been slowly upgrading to fully ride for this summer. Upgraded the BB to a BBinfinite 1 piece ceramic one and changed the rear derailleur pulley wheels to BBinfinite ceramic ones. Also went with the Specialized Romin EVO Mirror saddle mostly because of the SWAT system so I could run a saddle bag and Garmin at the same time. If anyone is wondering these expensive 3D Printed saddles are not worth it since they aren't really that much more comfortable but are heavier and and come in only pretty wide sizes. Finally after over a year got my Syncros bars in the correct size and had them installed. True fully integrated cockpits are insanely stupid I will never buy a bike again with one. Only upgrades left for the year are some cosmetic ones for the Foil in some iridescent decals for the Winspace Hypers and some oil slick bar ends. Thinking of converting my spare wheelset (Elitewheels Drive D50) to tubeless for events.

My new bike, a Canyon Ultimate cf slx 8, Ultegra Di2, DT Swiss ARC 1400 wheels, etc. It's pretty light, especially for a disc brake bike.

Feels a little bit more nimble, probably because of the shorter wheel base. The geometry feels just like my Emonda. I’ve only had one ride where the wind was not an issue, so it’s still to soon to give a fair assessment. It does feel to be more arrow but that could be the placebo effect. Handle bars are more narrow and that does make a big difference. I plan to ride both bikes and see how much of a difference there is.

Your Scott bike looks great. It looks smaller, maybe small enough to fit me. What size is it? The whole frame size thing has me completely confused. In Canyon I am a S, XS, or 2XS depending on the model, but in other brands I am a M or S, then in Specialized I am a 49 or 50. I think the whole industry should change to just listing frame size as the standover height... then I would know right away which size I need.

The Scott Foil is MY22 so the last gen and is a XS 49cm. I am 5'5" and 29" SOH and I could have taken a 47cm or 49cm but for the life of me I could never track down a 47cm let alone seen a Scott 47cm. Either way the Foil RC being a aero race bike it's very long and aggressive thus I changed the cockpit from a 90x400 to a 80x380 and I think the bike fits perfectly for me and this is with the bike having a 520mm TT and 378.8 reach. I am assuming with a 47cm I would have done a 90x380 cockpit. The MY23 geometry is more akin to the current gen Addict RC in that it's a 47cm has a 520mm TT and 380mm reach and while it comes with a 80mm stem the MY23 has a 746.4mm SOH is 30.09" which is too tall for me, thus I personally couldn't ride the MY23 Scot Foil RC

The Aethos is also a 49cm but has a 508mm TT and 375mm reach, thus I run a 90mm stem over the standard 80mm. I like the smaller fit since it's a climbing bike and the more upright position is optimal for climbing. This being said if I bought a Tarmac I would either do a 49cm w/ a 100mm stem or a 52mm with a 80mm stem since there is such a huge jump in TT between a 49cm and 52cm with Specialized

For Canyon I am a 2XS granted I would need to change their stem to a 90mm one, otherwise it's a bit cramped.

I currently have an Ultimate CF SL8 Di2 and a Pathlite 7 with XT and upgraded CP0008 cockpit... both in size XS. My inseam is 29. I seem to do better with standover height of 750mm or less. I'm in limbo at this point, because I've decided that neither bike is right for me. I love both the bikes, but I want the flat bar riding position on the sleekest road bike I can find. In addition to that, I want the 1x12 drive train. On my Ultimate, I NEVER use the smaller front chain ring. So it turns out my dream bike is a Canyon Roadlite CF 9, but they are not available in the US. I've contacted Canyon in the US, Canada, and Germany, and none of them will help me buy the bike LOL. It sounds ridiculous, but the company has self-imposed this mass of red tape that prevents them from selling me a bike that is available everywhere else in the world. After months of trying, I have given up for now, and just keep watching for availability. Have you seen the bike I want? It's pretty cool.
