At the shindigs I have organized I always had a "People's Choice - Varsity Class" category for your "less prestigious" bikes. What's nice is all you have to do is print that on the people's choice ballot as an addition. No cost. Very easy to do.

So the signs only included the highlights we submitted to enter the bike in the show?

Definite maybe. I have to contact my sister in metro Detroit. She mentioned interest, so it'd be a cool way to meet up with her and her boyfriend kinda sorta halfway.

Cool bikes are coming to Classic Bicycles Auburn - space for display bikes is filling up but is still available. And there also is swap meet space for folks selling vintage lightweight bicycles and parts.
The following was just posted on the Classic Bicycles Auburn Facebook page. "It's Motorola Merckx Monday. Time to celebrate one of the most iconic, and one of the younger bikes most consider "classic". Brian Walton's bike was on display in 2022 and we expect a 1991 Andy Hampsten bike to be on show this year!
It's also a great time to plan to be in Auburn, IN June 7-9. Or come for the bike show and awards June 9. Spots to display bikes are still available!"

Campagnolo Madness Expected at Classic Bicycles Auburn
Sunday June 9th is the day - mark it on your calendar! Auburn Indiana at the amazing Auburn Cord Duesenberg museum.
The indoor swap meet spaces at Classic Bicycles Auburn look to be all spoken for (if we can tweak the room layout it's possible a few may open up so stay tuned) and based on the vendor list, It will be a Campagnolo lover's dream-come-true. Most swap meets have a little bit of vintage stuff. But the swap at Classic Bicycle's Auburn big show on Sunday June 9th is going to have some of the nation's leading vintage lightweight bicycle parts vendors on hand with some great stuff. And there will be much more than just Campagnolo of course. But it's all about vintage lightweights.
While you're at the swap, you can take in the amazing vintage lightweight bicycle show. And of course, the venue is the amazing Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. Your admission to the museum gets you into Sundays bicycle show and swap.
While indoor swap spaces are currently spoken for, there is outdoor space available. Email classicbicyclesauburn@gmail.com if interested
Info on Classic Bicycles Auburn (including Friday and Saturday activities) can be found at https://classicbicycles.auburn.com
Thanks and see you in Auburn! Classic Bicycles Auburn is an independently organized event to promote vintage lightweight bicycles. A portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to the museum.

Classic Bicycles Auburn Seminars Announced
The seminar schedule for Classic Bicycles Auburn has been finalized. There are some real heavy hitters presenting such as Dale Brown (he has been the guiding light of many of us in the vintage lightweight community). To learn more about the presentations Click Here,
Also, the regular registration period for Classic Bicycles Auburn is ending May 17th, so register today if you haven't already. If you are attending only the big show/swap event on June 9th, you do not register in advance (you show up at the museum starting from 9am and your museum admission gets you into the show). But if you want to join in the excitement for the seminars or banquet you must pre-register.

Put me in the possible category. It will be a day trip if I can make it work, and not a weekend with a ride included. Smiles, MH

Driving up tomorrow. One bike entered in the Sunday show. Late 70s/early 80s Cherubim model "V". I have to be back in Madison by Sunday evening so it will be tight.
Bar tape on the bike is dirty because I ran out of time to replace it. It gives it character though (that's what my lawyer told me to say). I hear there's a "user bike" category anyway.
Looking forward to meeting some forum members.

Jeff Bock and Rich Gangl are staying at my place tonight and we all will be driving to Auburn tomorrow Friday so all 3 of us will be there all weekend. I'll have a part in some of the presentations. And selling some Ukraine themed T-shirts and jerseys.

Great Day! I met some fabulous people, saw some cool bikes and tchotchkes and even a cool cars and a plane!
Not the best pics, especially with my Nikon D3000, there is a setting for the flash I can't change it makes pics come out dark here's a link to my album https://www.bikeforums.net/g/album/34391710
This '31 Chord is one of my favorites in the Museum

I guess you didn't hear everyone snoring!
I liked and while admittedly dry found it informative. As I mentioned to you and in some other post, here and FB I didn't realize those Cambio type systems were in use for so long.
