Nervex Part Numbers
Hi folks,
Is there any relationship between Nevex part numbers and manufacturing dates? I recently acquired a vintage English touring frame with Nervex Pro lugs and a Nervex BB shell. In addition to the Nervex stamping, it has what appears to be a part number, 59o3064o22238. The 3rd and 8th digits could be either a superscript “o” or the degree symbol. The 3rd 2 is smaller or subscript. The frame has a “Don Farrell” head badge, but my research couldn’t find any info about dating from the 5404 serial number that is on both the bottom bracket and steering tube.

59° 30', 64° 0', 22.2mm, not sure what E38 means but the final A would be for "Angleterre" or inch size bores.

Vintage-Velos sells a reprint of a Nervex catalog--although without dates and I think the text is in French.
