650B/584mm sew up rims?
A friend of mine has somehow required a bunch of Dugast tubular tires, but they're far too small for 700c rims. Did/do 650B tubular rims exist? Is there some way for him to measure given just the tire? Try to form it into a circle somehow and measure diameter?

From this page:
- "26 inch" or "650" tubulars are smaller, mainly used on time-trial or motorpacing track bikes. There are two common "26 inch" sizes, corresponding to the 584 mm and 571 mm ISO sizes. There are a couple of oddball sizes as well.
- "24 inch" (two slightly different sizes), "22 inch" "20 inch" and "18 inch" tubulars were formerly used for children's racing bikes, but are pretty much extinct these days. The "18 inch" size corresponds to the "17 inch" (369 mm) size used on Moulton bicycles.

I've seen a few time trialing bikes in small sizes over the years with 650c tubs. 650B glue ups are news to me. Perhaps just tubeless?

...also popular with the triathlon crowd back in the day. They do pop up on eBay from time to time, so when searching for NOS vintage tubulars, make certain to watch for this difference.

Yeah I’d bet they’re 650c, sold as a package with bikini bottom and sleeveless jersey.

My Quintanna Roo is fitted with 650c wheels. This is a fast bike, perhaps the fastest I presently own...

+1 to trakhak. I used to own a TT bike in the 80s with a 26” tubular front wheel. The tire labels don’t mention the size? Dugast doesn’t have a big label, but I’m surprised they wouldn’t include the size, especially for uncommon tire sizes (even just to help keep inventory straight).

How fat/skinny are the tires your friend required? If they are fat, then perhaps 650b; but if skinny, then likely 650c. My money's on 650c.
