I saw a frame on ebay, that looks like right size and era for parts I have
I like the spatter paint job, but no idea what brand frame is though it appears to be decent quality with campy drops
wild guesses please
also anyone deal with the seller "around the cycle"
thanks

And the stay end finish is "fishmouthy."
(No worries. Not interested in this frame and it is too small too.)

-----
odd combination of details in that it exhibits seat tube w/b yet above shell cable routing
images do not reveal whether or not it is made for incasso brake mount
then of course we do not know if it presents itself "as built" or if it has received any reworking...
from what can be seen of lugs they could be either BOCAMA Competition 83 or Haden Royal Sovereign
would expect brake centres of 47

No clue who made it but I think it's pretty cool too and for that price it's even cooler.

Looks nice, the lug cut outs are pretty.
Routing over the BB makes me think earlier, with a recent repaint.
Nice opportunity to balance the intensity of the splatter paint with some matte, dark components. Black even.
Also, if you're looking for a frame, let me know!

Ohhh, Ahhhh. Pointy lugs and a well done splatter paint. Oh, and it fits me. Oh, and since it has 2 sets of water bottle bosses it can't be that old.

Was there ever a white grouppo? Possibly with self-added spatter?

I like the color alot. But the condition of the BB shell and what I can see of the head tube and the stem makes me worry that a proper prep was not done before it was sprayed...good prep work is 99% of finishing, and while i understand that those parts dont get paint and therefore technically dont need prepped, the idea of leaving loose rust dust on something while i hit it with lacquer based compressed air does not instill confidence....I wonder what the paint job is hiding.
My red line is hard to see against the paint, sorry.

I like the lugs and dropouts. I think.
I can't really see 'em under that "paint."

Threads are clean....bwahahahaha! They are likely fine under the rust.
Bocama lugs, fishy seat stays, scalloped seat stay cap. Wonder what it was.

Around the Cycle is a legit brick and mortar LBS in my area. I've never bought anything from them through eBay, but have been in the shop a few times for parts. Nice people.
