Peugeot Prologue

Does anyone have any information on this bike? I think it's from 1999-2000.

More pictures would be helpful (at least the dropouts and the writing on the upper tube), I see internal welds and an unicrown fork, no shifters on the frame and internal cabling - which would probably indicate 1990s. Try to find a serial number (common places would be under the bottom bracket or on the rear dropout). I'm sure the Peugeot gurus will chime in but in the meanwhile you can google 'BikeBoomPeugeot' and have a look at the brochures from respective years to try and match it.

The bike is listed on facebook marketplace, so that's the only photo I have. I did ask the seller for more information and photos. All I know is that he says it's a 56cm, has Bontrager wheels, Shimano groupset but don't know which one. I think it looks a bit tall to be a 56 and more like a 58cm.

Once Peugoet left the US market, I did not keep track of their product lines anymore. I also lost enthusiasm for the brand becsuse I think they lost too much of their "Frenchness"...... which attracted me to their bikes in the first place....
