I guess that means that I don't get the 7.6 for 2 bills, huh********** Butttttt, why the baby rings on the crank, in Florida? Maybe a 50-40-30.....
Friday, and yesterday, I spent tuning, cleaning, adjusting, fixing, my son and daughter in laws' Expeditions. Yes, of course, I did the grandchildrens' first....... his Marin, and her Absolute 2.0. (The kids go faster)

Sorry I didn't see the part about why the baby rings, truth is that I've really been looking at gearing etc.. I am never going to need a 50 x 11 (just wasted gears) 15 MPH puts me right in the middle of the cassette, on the middle chain ring. and 20 mph puts me right in the middle of the cassette on the big chain ring. That's at 80-85 rpm's. There is plenty of gearing both high & low with this set up. (for me). And some granny gearing for bridges etc.. Like the mechanic at the LBS said, that gear I'm looking for is always there. No huge gaps so to speak.

Lost Again
I started putting one together. A 2006-7 Miele frame. A few new parts, a bunch of stuff left over from old projects.
Got a wheel set, tires, tubes, and some brakes on the way. Maybe wrap it up next weekend.

For "Fathers Day"
For Fathers Day treated myself to some new pedals. Crank Brothers 5050 x2
There really an improvement over my plastic Wellgo's.
Also another surprise, was waiting for me in the mail box. A Bike CONSOLE UNIVERSAL 4.8, it was sent to me by "Bike2Power.com" for a review. Just reading over the box, and looking at it. This appears to be a really quality product. I'm excited to try out on my smartphone. Who knows it might replace the Garmin.

They look good and suit "your" bike which is why you bought them right!
I also like the ones Rise000 fitted to his bike > https://img43.imageshack.us/img43/9130/88401116.jpg
I have on my 29er the cheap and nasty Wellgo's I'm to 'ed to show but I have some awesome Ritchey SPD's I'm not using yet because I don't have the shoe's yet.

Ok, I pretty much finished my "Add color to my Bike" project. Since my Giant Escape 2 is grey and black I decided to go with gold accents. I got gold Wellgo pedals, Origin 8 seatpost, tire valves, and a gold origin 8 stem cap, here's some pics.
The yellow tape is not part of the project, it's reflective tape because I ride mostly at night. I'm just waiting for my Panaracer Ribmo tires to come in the mail. I think I'm going to get a couple of gold 5mm spacers too. My future buy is to get Ergon GP 5 grips/bar ends. I feel like I got a new bike, amazing what a little color can do.
