Actually once I get to n-70, and clear out an imaginary co-op's worth of bike junk....I'd like to build a rolling rack that holds s dozen bikes. I saw plans for one with a 4x8 foot print. A dozen or so... Is a long term goal, but having a dozen riders vs. 100 potential bikes is gaining appeal....

... you give away your beloved classic 1972 Mercedes-Benz 220D in order to fit all the bikes in the garage. (It amounts to that, but it's a much longer story.)

Actually, this is the ideal number, when she goes from a specific number to "all those bikes". Then, as long as she doesn't see when you bring a bike home, you are free to add more bikes and they just get lost in the crowd. Having a color theme helps in the deception.

Never thought it would happen,
reach over to the brake lever to shift on a downtube shifter bike....the bike was on the stand..

I've learned that as long as her bikes are conspicuously visible in the gaggle o' bikes, all is usually well.
