Best S.F. Bay Area Bike Swap?

OK: UPDATE! EDIT at Doyle Hollis Park, EMERYVILLE 94608
We got the space reserved, but not for the 1st or the 29th: Sorry: you know how it goes with various scheduling.
It is officially reserved for SUNDAY APRIL 22nd (Earth Day).
A few things:
1. It cost us about ~200$ to "rent" the space.. most of that is insurance. Ideas for helping generate some cash to offset those costs would be appreciated. We do not want to charge high vendor fees or anything (though perhaps a small fee would be helpful- let us know what you think). but also thinking about having some repair stations, some fit stations, maybe some general help workshop areas and ask for donations. This would also help get more general public interest in coming.
2. We are considering call it a "swap and show" (or show and swap) so that people who understand what a swap is, will get the idea, but others who are less deep in the bike culture will still feel like they can come and there is something for them. Basically have various bikes on display with small placards with the name, history of the bike, etc. and perhaps have a voting system for choosing the "peoples choice" award etc. this combined with the help stations might help drive up interest and get more people on their bikes!
3. We would need your help networking out to get enough people interested in buying and selling- and suggestions for the best way to advertise. as this would be new- it takes a bit to generate buzz and get people showing up. and I am not a marketing person!
We are working on a flyer now that the space is reserved and hopefully will have that done by the end of the week.

Twenty vendors at $10 a spot? Pretty cheap I say. If someone could make a flyer we could copy to post at local bike haunts and self advertising on CL, it should work.

If i get the bandwidth to participate I have no problem with a fee to offset the overhead. No reason you guys have to take a loss for your good deed!

I have posted the event info to the Classic Rendezvous list and signed up as a vendor. A bargain at $10 even if I don't sell anything, but only if the rest of you show up to keep me company!

Thanks Brent. I need to check in on how many people have signed up. Any other ideas of where to post? We are making some physical flyers today, but it seems like digital is the way to go. I don't use facepage, so not sure if there is anything there that might be good.

Unfortunately, that's the last day of the Sea Otter in Monterey so we will be traveling back home and will miss the swap meet

Posted a flyer at The Pedaler in El Sobrante. Talked to Jeff, the owner, and he says he gets customers all the time looking for vintage parts. Also posted on the Nextdoor app. Went down and payed for two spots. Any one coming with a few things is welcome to share my extra space. Looks right now that I'll have 4 bikes and I'm thinking about selling my Frejus project.

I am planning to have 2 good bikes for sale, and then a pile of cheap or free stuff. i shoudl have waited as i sold like 4 bikes last month. but actually- taxes have not been kind so I sort of needed the money.

Looking like perfect weather for a sale. Thanks again @jetboy for organizing. Any insider tips for loading/ parking? I will have some good "rider" frames and components for sale.
