My New Selle saddle.

Banned.
I received these Sunday morning from my neighbor before taking off for La Conner to meet up with Alex Moll for a vintage show/ride. They arrived Thursday afternoon, while I was well on my way to arriving in Cour d'Alene, ID. My neighbor and I watch out for each other as concerns deliveries when either of us are out of town.
The shoes are really nice, with thin leather soles and a nice, shaped maplewood inner sole - topped with cork at the ball/toe end. Very high-quality - and light in the bargain.
Daddy needed yet another new pair of shoes:
Someday I'll get a pair of Marresis in my size and my shoe collection will be complete

A 1956 (AW) Williams LC1232 crankset, with 47/50 tooth chainrings. No Mustang title, but thrilled all the same. ^ Bet you're looking forward to throw a leg over that sweet vanilla rig, it has some nice details. I'll be interested to know how that Berthoud saddle rides.

Tires from Wiggle for me, too. Mine took 3 weeks to arrive, though. Go figure.

I don't know whether I love it or hate it. I sure would like to ride that bike though. It's a wild saddle and has a cool look, but the bike is pretty vanilla.

I'm pretty excited that this came in the mail for me today:
It's astounding just how light this derailleur actually is!

After the initial moment of panic/disappointment, I realized the bolt threading was the same, so I grabbed my rotary tool and ground down one side of the adapter claw until it was able to provide clearance and essentially made my own Cyclone-compatible-claw. *whew*

Jack of all trades
I just got a clamp-on adapter for a 105 triple (braze-on) front derailleur. I've more confidence bidding on Ebay stuff from Taiwan now.

I got my new work stand I ordered last week. Finally a nice work stand for me to enjoy while I am working on my rides.

Yeah, the cyclones are absolutely beautiful. Light, simple and a gorgeous finish. They are one of the prettier derailleurs that I have ever held.

Brand new, C&V-looking "J&L Classic" saddle. Just your basic Regal clone.
Came directly from Taiwan and is going to on my Sekine to help complete the white accenting and replace the super uncomfortable saddle that is on it right now.
I think I paid $20 including overseas S&H so I figured it was good deal to try out - and for that price, I didn't think I had much to lose.
Appears to be vinyl over plastic with a little bit of padding but nothing so deep it'll cut off circulation (really hating on gelled seats for this lately...)
Rails are well machined and sturdy feeling, plastic seems to be of decent quality with a nice bit of flex to it.
Rivets seem to be decent, but the stapling along the sides on the underside appear to be along a very thin edge of the material, so I suspect I will probably end up having to re-attach with some super-glue at some point. It was cheap, I expected cheap, so not really concerned about that easy repair which might be needed.
I didn't expect Brooks quality, and certainly wasn't going to pay Brooks prices for a white saddle on a bike that usually gets ridden about 20km a day in fair weather.
Hopefully I can get it on the bike and take it for a test ride this evening.
