I'm bringing 60-year-old Schwinn 3-speed, a blue and white Raleigh Grand Sports, a small Cinelli frame in need of paint, a large Carre LeJeune frame with fairly new paint, and a small collection of miscellaneous parts ranging from a Unicanitor saddle to a pair of cheap turkey-lever Weinmann copy brake levers.

Got a message asking if there would be any vintage BMX. Thought I would ask before responding.

its shaping up to be an event! I am afraid I have no idea if there will be bmx stuff- i think we have 15 confirmed and paid vendors, and a few more that are pay on arrival. I think the buzz is good - but one never knows with these things. I will have Delicious's old school roller trainer on the field- and taking bets on how long one can ride on it.
i have been so busy I have not even tried it myself...

Sorry I could not make it... on the other hand, the 50 mile Sea Otter coastal fondo was fantastic (and hard)

As I left the field after 8 hours I thought: ghah, I forgot to take any pics! so thanks and if anyone has any more please post! I managed to sell around 10 things, give away 6 things, buy one thing (at the last second) and then somehow end up with 3 boxes of old water bottles.

Sorry I couldn't make it as planned (on account of my broken leg). Looks to have been a nice event.

Excellent event. Many thanks to jetboy for setting this up and to Colorwheel for all the support. You folks done good, especially given how short the notice was.
There was a lovely, community-based vise to the event, with as much visiting and gathering-of-the-tribe as buying and selling. It was great to put a few more faces with BF handles.
I hope this event can be done again. If it is, you should come.

I heard there was a guy selling high end frames out of a van. Anyone check that out? My swap partner got a nice Zinn frame from him but I totally missed him.

Great venue and easy loading. Hope it becomes an annual (at least) event. Made some room in the bike shack and enough money for the next build. Thank you jetboy!

Stop reading my posts!
I enjoyed this too (once I got thru the maze that is Emeryville when coming off 80 to Shellmound and the Endless Mall!) It's a nice little park for a nice relaxed swap and I certainly thank Jetboy, Omar and Colorwheel for making this happen and hope we get a repeat. Or more.

you missed him? yeah he had them all in his van! probably for the best or you would have ended up with 3 more frames as they were all in your size range. He had the orange centurion semi-pro and then a stack of even rarer stuff.

Thank all of you for showing up and making it into something real! Its always one of those things when you try and organize an event: it really comes down to who shows up. and you guys did! Omar was like: wow, most these people are from Bikeforums- without them it would not have been a success . It was pretty amazing as I did not have an unpleasant or unhelpful interaction the whole day - from vendors or buyers.
seems obvious but its more rare than one would like.

I'm sorry I missed it, but we're training for the Deathride so needed to put serious mountain time on our bikes this Sunday. Hopefully you'll do it again next year.
Also really sorry to hear about Randy's broken leg. This is the best excuse I've heard yet for someone not coming on our rides (though my other riding buddy Bruce is in competition with you...he just got heli-evacuated from Mount Diablo after a mountain bike crash). Be careful out there everybody.

Nice day, about twenty vendor's. A lot of bmx stuff being sold. Met some cool people. Sold 3 bikes to non flippers. Tried not to buy this Carbon Miyata, but it made its way into the car. Anyone else make it? A little buzz about the Adventure Swap coming on November 3rd. It's the old SF Bike expo. Indoor at the Craneway Pavilion.

your carbon Miyata looks cool. are you sure its your size? heh heh.
edit: it looks just like a carbon centurion ironman. i wonder if miyata made them for centurion.

I think it is an 88' Centurion. The seller said it was a carbon miyata, but the decals are missing except on the seat stays.
