It's from it's past life as a neutral team support bike. They were selling off their 2005 bikes last Fall. Team was mainly sponsored by Campagnolo, with team cars by Volvo. It's got all Campy stuff on it unlike most factory Lemond bikes, plus a custom paint/decal job.
Tons smoother than my old Cannondale.

Sorry for the double-reply...
After looking at the Lemond site it looks like it's most similar to the BA, only with full Centaur, a little higher level Bontrager bars, stem & post, and the Zonda wheels. I felt like it was a good setup for the money, and only had about 100 miles on it. Everything was like brand new, as it lived most of its life either in a motel room or on a roof rack. I got it for $1500, which seemed like a good deal to me.

Has anyone with a late model lemond been able to fit fenders? The planetbike Freddy Fenders hardcore do not fit beneath the tiny fork. Is the SKS race blade the only option?
Here's part of the last photo shoot the bike allowed.

Not sure any fenders will fit through the front brake and fork, or the rear brake. I use Planent Bike SpeedEZ... (not sure on exact model) - very similar to the RaceBlade. They work well. I've trimmed them a bit to fit without rattling on the brakes.

Just curious about bike weight on the steel/carbon Lemond bikes. Mine weighs in at a fraction under 19#, is that pretty much where everyone else is hitting?
Thanks,

Just bring it to work with you. I have a mountain bike leaning against the side of my desk most days. I try to get out on my lunch break & ride a nearby greenway when I can. It's only 45 minutes or so of riding & screwing around, but is sure makes the day go better! I get some weird looks from vendors' rep's that call on me, but after a few minutes they end up talking about that they need to bet a bike or dig their old one out.

I was in the process of installing my Astrale 8 and decided to take pictures for some reason. That little thing was a pain in the butt to install, those instructions were horrible. I just now figured out how to change the readings from km/h to mph, it felt like a major accomplishment!

My butt has finally worn into my saddle, I am no longer sore for days after riding!
BTW: Do you think putting red bar tape on my bike would look stupid?
