The top tube bag allows me to carry an extra battery for longer rides getting about 50 to 65 miles on each battery road, gravel about 40 miles per battery
Looking North on Lake Washington
Here is my Canyon Grail ON CF8 which I got in Feb 23 and have put just under 2K miles in 2023. Now that I'm retired I plan on many gravel rides and rides with the wife on her new EBike (no pics yet)
Thought I would never ride an EBike, but this is a blast on the road and off. Still keeping my other bikes to breakup the days riding.

41 miles ridden yesterday, 3 hours total time with a food stop along the way, about 1/4 battery capacity left; not bad for a $500 used ebike.

Roving about on the Rad Rover6. I expected very little of this bike. It has delivered so much more. She’s been a lot of fun. Motivated me may times when that 12MPH life wasn’t going to be enough for me.

I like this e-bike.
Not a problem in 18 mo.
Just fun - in a more leisurely sort of way.
Road, path
Pavement
Bit of gravel along the river

I made the above trip in reverse today. Sunny & 52*. No time deadline and full sun. This is a slightly longer route, but today in the sunshine it was delightfully sun-filled. On the gravel trail section, 12mph was too fast to enjoy the sights & sounds & smells of the day. I turned the motor off. Did i say i like blue sky days? In Feb.
edit: Sorry, uncharacteristically = no pics. Maybe too busy enjoying.

My initial venture into ebikes was a 36V, 350w front hub DIY about 10 years ago. I had a great time on the bike, so since my daughter has this kit now, I decided to build another. Amazon has an attractively priced 48V, 500w Bafang kit which I added to a mid 80's Diamondback Axis. So far, so good and the < 40 pound (with 52V, 4 ah battery) bike rides well.

Using antix-17.4.1
Bafanguy,
I would enjoy trying your bicycle, and the gravel version. I went with a KBO Hurricane that has taken me 43 miles about 5 times in econ (lowest assist power mode) I lived in Las Vegas for many years and was never able to see a Ride1up bicycle for sale on craigslist, I figured that would be a good way to test one, but never happened. I am now in Oregon and have seen several for sale in Washington, but not able travel that far north so I keep waiting.
I like the handlebar change to drop bars, did you accomplish that modification?

Nice bikes to my eyes.
Hey, @2old -
I have a 1991 Fisher rigid mtn bike that might do with modifications - how does the front hub motor and weight affect handling? What size tires do you run?

Thanks WW. Relatively light front hub motors seem to make the bike perform "neutrally" since front/rear weight ratio is good (I'm running 2.1 tires). The 52V motor is more likely to "spin" the tires when starting than the 36V, so I need to accelerate gently. I've been riding my MTB almost exclusively lately and don't have much time on this bike, but FME don't go bigger than this motor since a 1000w DD really influenced steering. I rode the "old" 36V system off road frequently and it was really fun ascending steep hills and maintaining traction by "over-weighting" the front of the bike while still pedaling.

Grateful to ride this ebike
After a week off any bike, the Orbea ebike makes a long ride possible, even tho’ the right ankle was a bit sore when starting. The EU max of 20kph assist is right for this aging cyclist.

I have to agree, as a max of 20 mph in in NY is fine for me, considering I'm lucky if I hit 15 mph. As we age, we appreciate the slower speeds, and the ability to look at the scenery is very much required. When I was younger I'd have let these things pass me by.

My speed is usually above 13mph on most pavement rides (so pedaling with no assist), but when it falls below that speed there is a reason. I appreciate the little boost accelerating from zero and a strong boost when slowed by big hills. So many practical uses for the ebike. I still keep the traditional bikes for the appeal they offer,... like the wonderful feel of a quality frame paired to supple tires and the power of one's own legs.
