The frame doesn't fit pass-around game

I must say, this thread is a great idea!
I've got three off the top of my head that I'd like to trade. All are frame and fork only.
1: 70's Peugeot Mixtie 20.5" C-T in Blue (Would like to convert this into a similar 25" men's frame, UO8 or similar) Normal wear and tear condition for a frame this age, scratches all about but not bad overall. French threaded frame.
I've also got a black mid 1950's Ladies Raleigh 3 speed frame too if anyone is interested. I bought it for parts some time ago, it's been hanging over my bench for ten years or so now.
I'd be more interested in a hand to hand trade locally if possible but for the right deal I have no problem shipping a frame or two.
>>I just wanted to edit here that I removed the Peugeot Mixte frame as it found a new home locally.<<

Balindamood - Tell me more (and shoot some photos my way if you have them) about the Gitane Super Corsa you have. Thanks, John

This thread is working!
Here is the link to the spread sheet...don't forget to add your information.

I left my name/info on line 3 because I am sure I will have another frame to trade in the future.
rhm still has that Bianchi frame in my size.

I suggest four grades of frame:
A = full / butted molybdenum-alloy steel --don't bother saying whether 531, Columbus, Tange, or what.
B = partial / straight gauge molybdenum-alloy steel -- again, don't bother with the details.
C = hi tensile steel.
D = anything other than steel.
I suggest three grades of paint:
A = excellent and original
B = okay (does not need repaint)
C = terrible (needs repaint)
If you're getting rid of a frame that requires unusual parts, non-English BB and headset, unusual sized FD or whatever, I suggest you include it if you can.
Other information required: dropouts, eyelets, other brazed on fittings. Damage should be clearly stated.
What else, guys? As I said before, this thread is probably just a trial balloon. What rules would you like to see? Under what terms would you, or would you not, play this game?

So I'm on now ready for round two of the frame pass-around! I just added a frame to the database:
Bianchi San Remo touring frame, 57 c-c ST and TT
Looking for something slightly smaller (55-56 c-c ST, 55-57 c-c TT), with similar touring geometry

I'll play. I bought a frameset on eBay hoping to replace my "one-size-too-big" Paramount. When it arrived, it was exactly the same size as my Schwinn. I'd like to trade this frame for a frame I can use. Here it goes:
(according to seller) Bringheli Columbus SL road frameset. 50 ST / 53 TT c-c. When it got here, I saw Campagnolo Brev dropouts, Cinelli BB, Mavic 305 headset. Frame doesn't have dents but has lots of chips and rust spots. A media blast and respray would be proper.
I'd like a comparable frame with 50-51 TT c-c. I have short arms.
EDIT: I added to the link

OK, I'll play. My 12 year old has outgrown road bike #1, so I'd like to find her a new frame.
Her old frame is a blue 49cm Vitus 979 frame and fork in good condition. Comes with 25mm seatpost and stronglight roller bearing headset.
I'd like to find her something road racing-esque in a 52-53cm. Prefer something that takes an English BB, 28.6 clamp on front derailleur, short reach recessed brakes, shifter bosses, 1" threaded headset, 27.0 or 27.2mm seatpost.
PM me if you have a swap.
Thanks,
Pete

I do indeed, and would be very happy to change that. And I've emailed balindamood about an Atala that might be in my size. Based on what I've seen, I'd even venture that the two are in approx similar condition. Not that I need another bike, you understand, but if I'm getting rid of one....

I moved some columns around in the spreadsheet, I hope that's okay. Now the desired frame parameters are in the first two columns. Am I right in thinking all the other columns refer to the available frame --what's offered for trade?

rhm, did you create the spreadsheet originally? Would you mind if I went in and made it slightly more user-friendy? I work on spreadsheets all day and appreciate certain features to make them easier to read! It wouldn't change any data, just make it easier to understand and navigate.

No, Southpaw, I did not create it, and have no proprietary rights to it. I changed it --if indeed my changes stuck-- without permission. So, you don't need my permission! Go for it, sez I.

I think Jesse (dashuaigeh) created the spreadsheet. I suspect he couldn't care less if you tinkered with it, Anton.

Pics can be seen here.
The last pic shows what I consider to be the only real flaw with the bike, that the anodizing has faded except where the decals were. The decals were removed by the previous owner. Decals can be found on ebay for under $50.
It's frame, fork, Stronglight headset, and Super Record seatpost only. The seatpost binder grub screw has chewed up the post a bit, but it still fixes securely.
I'm not concerned about your frames paint, as a good friend of mine is a well-known frame painter (and my daughter wants a pink bike). However, I'd be interested in better pics to ensure that there isn't anything really bad going on.
Thanks,
Pete

Put up the trek 500 tri series frame I got yesterday. I'd rather not have to deal with getting it painted, etc., but for someone else, it'll be a great project. It's 23" trek size (seat tube).
I'm looking for a 21"-24" lugged steel mountain bike or frame.
There are pics here.
