some new Deore brakes came in the mail and i bought a Serfas 150 headlight for my bike. had to get a brighter light because as i came down the bath path this morning in the dark there was a guy sitting in the middle of the path. i barely saw him with my other lights.

Not bike related..........vintage yes.................a cast iron gnome doorstop circa 1930's, will likely be the SO's X-mas gift. An ebay purchase I'm fairly certain she will approve of..........if not, I'd be happy to keep for myself

My friend lent me the cyclepedia book, he was like you gotta check this book out, I said sure, no problem. I took the book home and left it on my bedroom floor for about a month cause i was too busy working, cycling, playing hockey and maintaining a website. I finally opened it after about having it for 4 months in my possession. I read a couple pages per night trying to savour the information on each bike and admiring the amazing photographs and got about 15 pages in. Ironically after 4 months my friend wanted his book back just as i was starting to enjoy it. I couldn't really ask for more time with the book since i had it for months. After the book left my possession i started to crave to want to read more. I was feigning like a crackhead needed crack. Quickly i jumped onto chapters's website and ordered this book. It was on sale for 25 bucks, right beside it also was "the competition bicycle" book in the recommended section wish was also 25 bucks. So due to their amazing deal, 33% off both books plus free shipping i could not resist.

Banned.
1-The Cyclist's Training Bible, by Joe Friel, which I'll compare to Dave Scott's training manual.
2-The accompanying Cyclist's Training Diary, so I can write stuff down. That's my app.
3-A set of 39cm Sakae Road alloy bars, they'll make good trade bait.
4-A nice 70mm Kalloy 25.4 stem that will clean up great-already mocked up on my Univega Modo Vivere
5-A great saddle for my Old Man on a City Bike build, now perched on my Raleigh Horizon.
6-An Origin 8 27.2 black seatpost, now under a Selle Italia XC Flite Gel Flow, on the Univega.
Much obliged, Orrery.
7-Bills. I threw them away, and kept the important stuff.

I got my wheels! Campy Veloce rear, Xenon front. Both spin for days and are dead true. They are laced to some Italian rims - FiR PIN. Should be sturdy wheels for training and general riding.

I hadn't seen it posted before on eBay, but might be. I've been looking for a yellow one in my size and that condition for some time, and paid a hefty toll for it.
Although it also come with a perfect condition Dura Ace seatpost and the original Tange headset, so with free shipping, it cost about as much as a what I've paid in the past for a decent Merckx Corsa Extra.
Have to say that the frame is simply gorgeous, and the condition is a 9.8 out of 10.
