Sexy
I was looking for pedals (to put on my bike with toe clips). After a while, I caught my self saying, "sexy" to some old SR pedals. Dang, I've been around bicycles parts too long when I say that. Anyone thought that way?

That's the word Richard Ballentine used to describe the original version of the Austro-Daimler Vent Noir in (I think) the 2nd edition of Richard's Bicycle Book. And that I remember this 40-odd years later is telling.

A friend brought his new bike over to my apartment once (about 1987) and it was all C-Record. I said "Wow, that is a SEXY crank". My roommate laughed.

The only pedals I'd mutter that about from my youth are the SunTour Superbe X bodies. I ran those for more than a few years.
