Univega Custom Ten
I got ahold of this very vintage Univega Custom Ten ten speed and I'm trying to figure out the year. The serial number is 90700326. No letter on the front, just 8 digits.
All the posts I see here and elsewhere chart based on the "starting letter"
I'm thinking this may from the '70s. Side pull brakes with the old brake levers with the finger extender bars on drop bars.
I used to run a Schwinn shop in the late '70s and this gear looks like that era.
Anyone got any ideas?

it's got Dia compe side pulls and basic Shimano steel deraillears with down tube shifters, so it's definitely 70s, but it's got 700c 25 presta tires so those aren't original

If 70s vintage the "UNIVEGA" downtube decal will have a block font with a taller letter V. In 80s they switched to a Piccadilly font with each letter formed from what looks like piping or neon light tubes. Okay, it's hard to explain.

OK I'm working on the wheels and tires - NOT original, and it took a while but I found a "23-622" designation, which I think corelates to 700c x 23.
I bought a couple of 700c x 25 tires and tubes and dry fitting one without the tube was VERY tight. Of course, they're new and need to stretch a bit.
Also, these wheels have sun tour hubs (like the original) but with sealed bearings - not a typical 1975 option on a steel mech ten speed.
