Thanks.
Do you remember what the usual incubation period is? I was at my local on Sunday watching the Phillies game. While I spent much of the time outside, I was inside for periods. The place was really crowded, and there were a lot of young people there. Had minor digestive problems I think both Monday and Tuesday night. Wonder if that's where I got it.

A couple weeks ago I finally bid good riddance to a monster cold that was with me at least 3 weeks. Started with a sore throat then blended in Constant nasal congestion and coughing. No fever or noteworthy fatigue other than the sleeplessness brought on by coughing spells waking me 3 or 4 times a night. I checked twice for Covid but was negative both times. The worse cold in many many years, I killed at least two boxes of Kleenex

I have always used KMC chains and have had no issues. But please buy from a reliable source. I usually get from Merlin in UK or Excel ( I think this is about the same or less than you paid):

Since I put the new cassette chain and chainrings on my cervelo sometimes doesn’t upshift.
it doesn’t sound like it’s skipping, i’ll shift and it takes one or two pedal strokes before it shifts. It never did this before, doesn’t do it every time, maybe 7 out of 10. Anything I can do? I would say it’s between 8-7-6 cogs.

Old school chains don't have a direction but current ones (at least Shimano 10 speed and beyond) do have a preferred direction.

11s Campy? I wonder if this might be the cause of the noises I'm getting on my Storck.

Could be that the RD barrel adjuster needs a turn. Or, maybe, the derailleur hanger is misaligned.

Always check derailleur performance, when swapping drivetrain parts.

Yeah I suppose I might have to check my topology textbook, but I will agree for the square, Peter.

Feel better to indyfabz and big john .
I'm sitting here uncomfortable in a particularly unpleasant way because there is no comfortable position. And I peed quite bloody at the hospital, but they weren't concerned. The stone is apparently smashed though. Hoping that I'll sleep ok and then start feeling better tomorrow.
