Bottecchia Estate Sale Find
I have no knowledge of this bike model. Any insight if this is lower, mid or upper end?
I’d like to go take a look at it tomorrow but don’t want to waste my time if the bike isn’t worth it.
Unfortunately only have the one non drive side picture.
Thanks.

Looks like a Model Special to me...
Seeing the other side and a close up of rear drops would help with identification.

Thanks for the quick feedback. Not really interested in a lower level bike (even if Italian) so I’ll probably pass on it.

I haven’t built mine up (I have the one from the catalog page Juvela posted), but I have heard they rise above their position on the charts.

I saw this recently as a "curb alert" on NY CL's "free stuff" section. It even came with a "donor" bike. Hopefully somebody saved it.. Kind of a "meh" rider, but a beauty with potential.

Even the low end Bottecchia's look great nice chromed lug work and dropouts and good paint.. The one above looks good even on the curb in bad shape.
