Why are you hell-bent on getting a Schwinn? What about a Fuji Classic Track 650?

I finally have a real track frame, built up with pieces parts that I had collected from earlier conversions.
I would really like to have a leather saddle and bartape so as to keep a very classic look.
I've never been happy with those bars though and don't think yhat track drops would be any better.
Would more yellow look to hipster? I was thinking saddle, tape and chain in yellow.

i know gorillas exist, but i still scratch my head when stem reach is longer than exposed seatpost. add deep drops to that, and im thoroughly boggled.

Love that chrome kilo.

I'm flabbergasted by the wheels on the black one. What in the world are those?

It fits, and it's comfy. I could stand to go a few more inches on the seatpost, but it's not comfortable at all.

Thanks Nate! the wheels are teny rims. 26" fixed wheelset off ebay. they are pretty heavy but would probably survive a nuclear blast.

Yeah, seems like the frame is too big for him. General rule is to have at least a fistful of exposed seatpost.

It's a 50CM, I ride a 49CM typically, but it's too small. The ideal size is a 52CM.

I lowered the seatpost for comfort right now, it used to be up another 2 inches, but... meh, didn't like it.

My legs and arms are rather short...

I bought a 52cm 09 TK2 frame which is a bit smaller than my 07. Even though I loved my old one, this one feels like it fits me better. I swapped everything else over. No changes in that area for now...

your saddle height needs to be what it needs to be, but also having that stem length doesn't seem to make sense with normal proportions. id be interested in seeing your posture on it.
