Many of the Mondias I have seen were reddish/bit o burnt orange. But certainly not all.
DeRosa = not sure there is one favorite.
have to find an old pic, but here I thought the understated frame needed pop.
The rebuild changed only bar, stem, tape to narrow Cinelli and Benotto ribbon.
Used to be Modolo Speedy stem with Anatomic Design bars.
My Merckx should be painted 7/11 colors.
Bottecchia - my silver is nice - but Italian tricolor is classic.
Neither of my Pinarellos are Spumoni.
Zeus - I think of reds, mines’s green (but foil decals
)
Holdsworth = Orange & Blue
Falcon = chrome lugs and panels
Pegoretti in any design or color.

There's not a dog in this bunch, but I always catch my breath when I see the sable/mink/blue Raleigh Professional. I saw a beautiful example of a fresh powder coated one at Groody Brothers Restoration shop recently. I almost told him to coat my Trek exactly like it (w/trek decals), but there would be endless explaining to folks on the road.

If you are still looking for iconic designs or styles for your Trek, let me suggest the Mercian barber pole stripe.....
This is something that I've thought was pretty cool from the first time I saw it.

Oddly, my last two cars have been white, and I never notice the crud on them. They just changed from white to a light shade of gray as they accumulated a fairly uniform layer of crud, without being too obvious.
When I had a commuting/touring/travel bike built, I expected it to be covered in crud most of the time. As such, it was important to find a color that wouldn't be too obvious when it was filthy. I selected a dark-ish green, just a bit shy of British Racing Green. I think it has worked well.
in good conditions:
and in not-so-good conditions...
once the snow melts, it does leave a lot of nasty stuff.

Well I can't find a pic but @mpetry912 has a Rose gold Cinelli that was made for Cino's Dr. and that thing is about as cool as it gets.

Here's one,
actually its "Dusty Rose", seems like the original ones I have seen are more subtle and beautiful but this is gorgeous as well.
Brian Chapman built one that is similar and also gorgeous.
And my Merz that is either darkish pink or lightish purple and gets a lot of love for the color wherever it goes.
