help on restoring a dyno compe?
i bought a 90s dyno compe and some of the chrome on the forks has some rust i want to use car spray paint, do i have to sand the chrome out first or just paint over it.

While you really want the chrome gone, which can be accomplished by sandblasting it off. You must at the very least scuff it up with a wire wheel or something so that the paint will stick. Paint typically has a very difficult time sticking to chrome plating.
