Need recommendation for commuter tire for All City Space Horse

I bought the space horse with the intent of versatile do anything bike...so I added Clement X'plor USH tires so I can hit the gravel roads to. Just bought myself a gravel dedicated bike so I want to pull the USH's off the space horse and put some fast rolling, smooth, flat resistant tires on. I'd like a tire in 700 x 32 or 35 for my commute and longer weekend pavement rides. What do you guys recommend ?

Schwalbe Kojaks.. in 700 X 35 they're a fast street slick. I wouldn't ride on gravel with 'em but they're just what you're looking for from a smooth, rolling tire.

A good all-round commuter tire would be the Michelin City in 700 X 35.

Has tread but not too aggressive and is relatively fast on pavement.

Reasonably priced.

Great tire, but last I checked they had about zero flat protection. They roll amazingly, and weigh very little for the size, but I think they might not be quite what OP is looking for. Unless they came out with a slightly beefier Kojak from last I admired them.

They do actually, but it is minimal.

For the OP,if price isn't an object,Schwalbe Marathon Supremes. Otherwise,I've always liked Vittoria Randonneur Pros.

Thanks for the replies. I am currently doing research on the fore mentioned tires. Trying to decide if I should go with 700 x 32 vs 35's.

I use Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 35s on my Space Horse and love them. Serves me well commuting, and long rides.

I'd go with 35. They fit under fenders and they're neither too wide nor too thin. They feel just "right."

Of course, if your bike can't take them, the 32 is a good choice and people ride with them every day.

Whether to go with 32s or 35s depends on the condition of local roads and whether you ride much on unpaved surfaces. I have ridden on many unpaved trails and gravel roads with 32 mm tires and found them to more than adequate. The roads are very hilly around here, so tire weight is a much bigger issue, so I would opt for 32s over 35s in most cases. However, if your roads are mostly flat, then the weight penalty for 35s would be minimal.

Jeez...there are too many variations of the vittoria randonneurs and hypers and the hypers seem relatively hard to find. Seems like anyone that has used hypers have a good word. Alot of good raves about schwalbe marathons supremes and paselas, but enough negatives to make me gun shy about pulling the trigger. Bummer....cause they are more readily available.

What negatives (other than price) are there with the marathon supremes? I've been using the 35s for some time and really like them. I just swapped them out for 28s, and really like them as well after a week and about 55 mi. I've been doing some longer rides on the weekend and wanted to try something besides the 35mm. The 28s are noticeably lighter.
