Not it sure about the 7.7 but some bikes don't have but one mount on the small sized bikes

Dear Trek:

please add the black crank for 2016, please!!

The top of the model line should look the best, no? Heck, even the current Trek website features the 7.5 FX on the "FX" section. All others, Emonda, Madone, etc. show the top of the model line.....why is that?

2 grand better make the bike pretty!

sorry....just had to vent

maybe 1 Liter sized bottle will do, Zefal makes those Bottles..

Two-fish bottle cages attach with velcro straps, Twofish Unlimited - Bicycle Accessory Fasteners
Rixen and Kaul, Klick fix, German mfgr, has a band on adapter,

camelbacks you wear a water bladder in a slender backpack. drinking hose, on those.

you can put More bottle cages on the handlebars and behind the saddle too ..

Been riding my 2015 Trek 7.7 everyday since I got it. I can say that I don't have buyers remorse, but the seat isn't that comfortable. Here's a pic I took a few minutes ago.

You should try it with the seat tilted down not up! Ouch!

HAHA, funny you say that. I tried to tilt it down a few days ago, but it seems like it wouldn't go any further.

EDIT: Just tilted it!

I have the 2015 Trek FX 7.7 Carbon Fiber black frame. Awesome bike...but - no kickstand!
I just chatted with the Trek guy on the website and he confirmed this frame will not accept a kickstand. Holy cow.
I noticed the kickstand on the white Trek. Is that a carbon fiber frame too?

Kickstand? On a FX 7.7?

Kickstands are for 50 lb ebikes or comfort bikes. That 7.7 is a VW GTI type of bike. A kickstand even if it would fit is just not right for it.

What about this [overpriced] option: THE UPSTANDING BICYCLE COMPANY

I'd get the Giant Roam/Seek kickstand. Its a rear axle mount kickstand and its reasonably priced at $25.00. Trek offers a similar kickstand from Bontrager for $20.00.

I still have mine and loving it. If I understand your question, there is 5.5" between the ground and pedal fully extended.

No, I meant maximum width tire that fit in the frame ? Is 38 or even 42 mm possible ? Is your bike a 2009 model ? Thanks in advance ! Also how much does your bike weight ?

Weight is 8.84 kg. Mine is a 2014, and just looking at my bike, i don't think a 38mm will fit. I have 25 x 700 on mine and that looks to be about the max.

Thank you ! It might be pretty different from the 2009 model, which comes stock with 28 mm tyres. Look at the pictures below, there’s plenty of room there.

2007 FX 7.5 with 35 mm GK SS tires that measure approx 37 mm …

rear is fine - but front tire contacts the brake pads when removing / installing …

can still stuff the inflated front tire past the brake pads with a little force - but might not be able to if the brake pads were toed in just a tad more

( btw - weight of this bike is 22 lbs )
