It's revealing that so many that want to see a 50th anniversary group set essentially just want Shimano to release another 25th anniversary group set.

Oh sweet Jesus...You should try Di2 before posting something like this. Or even a 12-speed mechanical groupset. Or an 11 or 10 speed groupset, even.

If you're that battery-phobic, I suppose your only telephone is bolted to your wall. Is it a rotary dial, or one of those super-high tech fancy push button models?

I've had shift cables snap mid-ride and then ridden home on a single-speed, but my Di2 battery has never died on a ride. Given how long a charge lasts, you'd have to be a true idiot for that to happen.

Not sure because it is very confusing. As previously mentioned there are numerous NOS 25th anniversary groups available at reasonable prices which would be below the price of a reissue version.

It’s Sunday night, finished family dinner, spent 2 hours on the trainer earlier (weather sucks) and reviewed some work for tomorrow now having a glass of Sancerre and was a little bored. Hope you don’t mind.

Oh, no confusion here. Resigned bemusement, perhaps.

Umm, you're allowed to do it (like in this thread, post #70), but others aren't?

Weird.

Was your post a question? Were you thinking of this retort all night?

Weird.
