Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's kinda pretty, but I'd want the bike to exactly match, or it would look off.

Our next concert is going to be either the NY Philharmonic at Saratoga Performing Arts Center or the Boston Pops at Tanglewood. Excited for either one.
I used to drive my daughter to see those two groups at concerts about 20 years ago, I think.

Mom's surgery was last Wednesday. She had to have a catheter. Today was the follow up appointment and she passed the test by peeing, so the catheter is out for good. Now no heavy lifting for 2 or 3 months then back to normal activities. Surgery for 85 year old people can be risky but she is fine.

11 mph winds at 101 degrees. Feels like 108. The critters are surprisingly comfortable. I’m designing my ac setup.

Kudos to Mom!
My dad had quadruple bypass surgery at 82, I believe. Lived another ten years.

I knew the initial report (all instruments allowed) had to be too good to be true.

Oh well, at least they allow the important one.
