noises coming from my chain
hey, so i just switched over to a fixed gear a few days ago, and sometimes when I am riding, there is a bunch of noise coming from my chain. it sounds like the gears are changing, even though there arent any. when i get off and look at it it doesnt seem like anything is wrong, the chain tension looks fine and the chain isnt falling off or anything like that. Before when i was riding it single gear i did not have any problems with the chain making noise and i had the same setup, just with a freewheel and not a fixed cog. I think it might be because my front chainring is 3/32 while my chain is 1/8 inch. Or does the chain length and tension on a fixed gear differ from that you would use on a single gear? any help or ideas would be nice. thanks
