I have the perfect candidate acquired last month for free.
1992-3 badly kept Klein Pinnacle...
...with paint that is beautiful in most places...
.and cancerous in several other places.
This will be great fun and I already have most of the really bad components to hang on what was back in the day, an expensive MTB.
What say the Daves? Does an early Nineties Klein qualify?

This saddle is not just a 'bum hatchet', but a full on bum chainsaw. As much as I LOVE tetanus, we also have the femoral artery to consider. Therefore, it's gonna get a 'safety wrap' of HVAC seal foam, topped with a ton of obvious GRAY duct tape, because we wouldn't want anyone seeing the bike from a distance and confusing black duct tape with a legitimate seat covering.
Also, before I started buying saddle covers in bulk, I had many seats on active duty whose rips and tears were patched with wide black tape.

Oh no, That saddle needs a good gel cover that slips over and ties down to hold it in place! We can't take chances with AMCO's dairy air as he will have to ride on that thing for a few miles. Smiles, MH

Well 1Dawg, and Dave,
A long day coaching and measuring golf clubs has kept me from anything bike related, 6a to10p has me bushed and I have to do it again tomorrow, but hopefully not so long a day. The Ochsner awaits some new horrification when I can get to it.
Smiles, Dave #3

Still working on coming up with some more stuff for the Jeunet got parts mix pretty high with parts From 20 or so companies most of are now defunct dead and out of business from 10 different countries . Got to take it on bad weather ride yesterday up to Alma and did some trail riding 20 miles or so.
Stopped by the bike graveyard to get some inspiration the Huffy which was supposed to be a nicer MTB when made in the background stock is worse than anything I can come up with.

I (humbly) suggest that Andy_K mocks it up as a front basket, a trailer AND a sidecar, then documents each (with pictures), and we can all vote on which travesty makes the grade!

Here is the weather I’m hoping for -
It is usually reserved in nature for Campagnolo-equipped Huffys, but the Good Lord may make an exception for the Crapamount.

Tempted.
I think I can take some bits that are cheap, and some parts that are horrible, and add some parts that were cool until part of this terrible build idea and then build something that I may be able to ride and just leave laying around without fear of loss.
time to try and debulk the garage a bit.

Are we recognizing China and Taiwan as distinct countries? I'd hate to start an international incident over this.
Here's a preemptive apology, just in case.

At the time these parts were made they were politically recognized as different now not so much so I guess I could add dead defunct country to my list. I won't bicker on the judges decision for points. Like the John Cena explaining apologizing for it makes no sense in Chinese or English yet the fans love it seems right for this thread.
