Cyclery North Hellenic Touring Frameset (60cm) + Extras

Greetings,

Relisting this as a frameset, since I'm no longer selling the complete bike.

ST: 60 cm (c-c).
TT: 58.5 cm
Rear hub spacing: 126 mm
Seatpost: 27.2 mm (maybe 27.0 mm)

Included in sale:
Omas threaded headset
Omas bottom bracket
Silca frame pump with Campagnolo head - painted and modified to match frame!
Blackburn rear rack - modified to fit seat stays!

This frameset is quite exquisite, with lots of striking and inventive little details. My favorite are undoubtedly the little pegs on the inside of the seat stays where the modified Silca pump locks into place. The fork is also interesting, with its Henry James crown to the repurposed shifter bosses intended for fitting a low rider front rack. The frame and fork are constructed of Columbus tubing (probably SP) with Campagnolo dropouts front and rear. The tire clearance for 700c wheels maxes out at around 28c due to vertical clearance. Personally, I think this bike would be a perfect candidate for 650b conversion, which would be my plan if I end up keeping the bike. The last two pictures back this point up, showing how the chainstays and fork crown would clear 42c x 650b tires. There are a couple of nicks, but overall the paint is in much better condition than even bikes I myself have owned since new!

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions that you might have!

MAKE ME AN OFFER!

Listings like these are why the C&V Sales sub forum is such a dangerous place

Yeah, me too - definitely a bit frustrating, but I've noticed this same phenomenon with other items I've had up for sale. It seems that the interest in C&V bikes and components has cooled, or rather it's highly specific - lucky are those that are selling vintage MTBs and other currently on-trend items!

Well, we are nearing our moving date, and I am getting desperate to find this frameset a new home - I'd much rather that it ends up in the hands of someone who will treat it right, and also appreciate what it is.

Accordingly, if you've been following this and are interested, please feel free to make me a reasonable offer!
