Shimano 600ax levers - which cables?

I bought a nice set Shimano 600 levers and was wondering if standard Shimano cables would work with them. The original ferrules are included.
I was also wondering if there would be any problems using these levers with Campagnolo Victory brakes.

supertoni I don't have personal experience with those but I'd say yes, pretty much any "standard" brake cable should work with them.

Yes on the Victory calipers.

What are the condition of the hoods? I have the DA AX version and originally made my own out of leather. My results are nice and they work. However, recently I noticed an eBay seller in Poland is selling repops. They look great in the photos and at $50 for a pair, a reasonable price. I've ordered a pair.

Pretty good judging by the photos (I haven’t received them yet), especially considering that they are 40 years old. By the way, I paid 38 euros for the pair of levers including hoods.
