I love my raincape, they work "better" with a more upright position, but riding on the hoods with drop bars work also. It will slow you down or speed you up depending on the wind.

Wow! Thank you so very much, this is exactly the detail I needed. Not all heros wear capes (they wear magic parkas)
Really appreciate you going to the trouble - I think I'll be ok with the mens M then. I'd usually go for womens US10, so hopefully the mens M will be similar going by your measurements. I know that the Italians and French like their slim tailoring!
Can't wait to get mine it looks so good.

My wife first got the women's version but found the cut too tight for her cycling—the design's striving for elegance trumped practicality. She now happily rides in the same men's S size as I. In the meantime, Tucano rebranded that men's version as unisex.

Oh yeah… I used to work for a French fashion label. Beautiful, chic coats but their tailoring was very form fitting. Italian fashion is the same. Molto elegante!
I love me an oversized men’s style I can shove a practical jumper underneath If it’s not too personal, I’d love to know your wife’s regular size - I’m sorry I can’t pm you as I’m new on the forum! Thanks!

She normally wears US8, but her bust size is 36DD.
