Vintage 1974 Teledyne Titan Titanium Bike 60cm w Campagnolo Nuovo Record Group | eBay

We posted this bike a while back when it was on CL and the guy was taking offers- it was just pulled out of the shed with bad pics etc. look like this guy bought it and painted it.

what he fails to include in his description is that the pale blue ones were (reportedly) factory resprays after a warranty replacement on bad welds that were fixed and sold as framesets at a discount. that is probably why he can't find that color mentioned in catalogues. Nice that he kept the same color. cool bike.

ATTN Atlanta folks like @leicanthrope @daf1009 ... Looks like a local flipper is downsizing and offloading stuff. I'm pretty sure this is Gus from Lawrenceville based on the pics in the ad and what he's been selling on CL lately. Sale is this Saturday starting 8am, possibly at or near Eastvalley Elementary?

I remember the Teledyne above from my hood above pre-paint. Seller did a great job.
But for half the price, I'd have to go for this bad boy:

1987 56cm Meyer Custom Titanium Panasonic $600 w/ Dura-Ace

How many of you have received a text from a person purporting to be working as an oceanographer for National Geographic? His text comes up almost all the time when I post something for sale on Craigslist. You'd think he'd change his line periodically.

I haven't gotten any like that. But I always get this one person asking what's the lowest I'll take and then asking for details that are already listed in the ad. The grammar is always similar but the name changes.

Yeah, I just got one of those. My thought was, "Well, I really don't want to sell it to you, so the lowest I'll take is what I listed it for."

That is typically the question asked by lowballers. I learned not to respond to queries like that.

By the time I'd drive out there, they'd be getting higher offers. Too big for me anyways!

Bridgestone RB-T - $50 (Richfield, MN)

tall road bike

'94 Bridgestone RT-B road bike with retro handlebar shifters, so your hands stay on the bars when you shift--that's great--but you have to use some care as there's no click stop for each gear. The bike is in decent shape-the rear hub could use some tightening but it's a good fairly light comfortable bike; I'm 6'2 and it fits.
I paid > $500 for it--at that time it was a good mid to upper range bike.

They're bike savvy enough know what it's worth, but not quite sure how to insert the rear wheel to engage the sprockets. Or to wipe down the thing with a damp rag. Grime sells!

I know very little about Merckx's, but the visible sticker is pretty clearly 753. The 105 group isn't doing it any favors.

Maybe @KonAaron Snake knows something. I know he's been after a Merckx for a while.

What's the matter with this shiny yellow Lemond Tourmalet with RSX for $235? It's been sitting a while. I see it often because of its keyword list.
