question about shipping handlebars
i am going to have to have some bars to move out soon... what is a good way to mail them (boxed up or just wrapped up in bubble wrap) and what are folks paying to ship?

Plus, I don't use handle bars that are vintage and see using modern (new bars) as cheap insurance.

I bought two nearly identical bars off the bay recently (same model, different width). One was $35+$15 shipping, the other was $35 + free shipping. Both came in rectangular box.

Last group I sold in a lot of four. They’re light so it came out to about $6 per bar, maybe? 20X10x14 box maybe?

Many efbay sellers will ship new and used comparable ones for free so the market supports little help for us and makes it a losing proposition.
