That Hit n Run GoPro thread goes to prove one thing, there's a little bit of A&S in all of us.

I would love to do it too. But not on a bike. I'm too old for that already.

I successfully drove across the city, and home from the city. I waited 3 1/2 hours in line, for a 10 minute drivers license renewal. I watched people pick up their number and know they'd be there for that long. Nothing. That's what we do here; we wait. And we're not burdened with the hurry up part.
Arriving home, I'm feeling pretty normal.
But I won.t ride til next week.

So of the 2 GP4K IIs I got a few months ago, both now have sidewall slashes in under 500 miles of use per tire. N=2 so clearly these things are trash and I should probably start a thread asking for bulletproof tire recs. Last night was my first full on blowout/instaflat, gunshot sound and then riding on the rim. Good thing I wasn't going too fast at the time.

It probably worked when it first came out, now that it's common no one's surprised.

Commuted on the steel bike today to check that the new stuff was working ok. Dropped the chain once. Adjusted fd lower limit. Then on the way to lunch my rd cable came undone. Had to Uran my way back home. Guess I didn't tighten it enough. Now it seems to be shifting fine though. Hope that doesn't happen again during my group ride tomorrow.

For the PA guys, we rode from the Spooky Nook rec center near Manheim and wound around to some town like Lititz where there was a chocolate factory. Other than that, you'd have to look at my Strava map to see where we went.
No idea where we're going to tomorrow. Wherever they send us.
