A few years ago, I sold a Paramount to a fellow who was an employee of BBC. He told me that BBC gets their crazy asking prices (often 10x FMV) more often than you think. Even if it's only a small percentage of what they sell, that's still a chunk o'change.

In person I hear they are good.
The bicycle in question is without a doubt a top of the line vintage and cool with cool history and special care in the making....

Italvega Gran Turismos (sold as a pair) - $150 (Colorado Springs, CO)
https://cosprings.craigslist.org/bik...561765312.html
I have A matching set of bikes from the early 70s. Both bikes were stored most of their lives and are in great shape. I only Ever got around to restoring one of them which is currently set up as a single speed. I have Parts for both. The restored frame is larger then the other (not sure about sizes). I also do not have wheels for the smaller frame. Only selling as a set.

Here is one you don't see everyday. "Sizzling Peach" 1986 Bianchi Volpe with lots of upgrades, only $600. Great all around bike https://goldcountry.craigslist.org/b...558700291.html
Maybe someone can tell me what's going on with that screw head on the downtube by the letter B.
The bike is local here. I have what I think is the same off-roadish model, a bit older and came from the factory with Command shifters.
Pricing needs major adjustment...
Meanwhile, this one turned up last month at a charity thrift shop for $100, it's all-Japanese with full Exage gruppo.
Needed plenty of work as it looked to have been stored outdoors in mostly dry conditions for perhaps years. I tossed the levers/hoods and saddle just for starters, and the freewheel looked like solid rust (I replaced that too). It fits me perfectly and rides/feels about like a real race bike.
