Who makes Roval wheels?
What manufacturer makes Roval wheels? Can't find anything about it. I see they come with the S-works Tarmacs and wondering if they are any good.

^- that Specialized's own brand of wheels.
I run a set of their E5 Al 24-28ish mm clinchers.
They've rolled good and true for many thousands of miles.
They were deeply discounted at the LBS or I probably wouldn't have gone with them.

I have rovalls, the fusee sl, al rims, dt swiss hubs. They are very good wheels, have ridden them thousands of miles and have stayed true. Good braking and accelerating. My only knock is that the red paint on the spokes (comes with black and red) comes off after a while. I have used nail polish to fix the blemishes. Overall a solid set.

I have a real Roval wheel sitting in my attic. Used to time trial with a Roval front wheel, and a J Disc on the rear.

They are great. Super light and strong. I have a pair on my tarmac and my epic. They feel like you are riding a rocket ship on the tarmac and they can withstand tons of abuse on my epic. My coach says xc wheels are not for whips and 8 foot drops and that I’m going to fold a wheel. But I haven’t

You revived an 8 and 1/2 year old thread to answer this question? I think the OP probably moved on either way.

So my question is, what’s the big deal with refreshing an old thread? Gimme a break! I just acquired two sets of Roval wheels (in great shape, too) and information on these wheel sets seems a little scarce. Forums like this are a nice resource for tracking down basic information, regardless if the original post is 8 or 10yrs old.
