1990 Bridgestone RB-2. 62 cm. Suntour Edge
One of the original drop bar Hybrids. Rumored to fit 35 mm tires. Looks to have low use with most of the paint scratches from shifting around in storage. the top tube looks the worst, but I think most of it is transferred paint, so it actually might buff out.
Looking for opinions on value as complete bike or frame and parted out, as I'm thinking of keeping the wheel set. Thanks, Woody
The brakes stand out a bit. The front is missing it's cone nut.

The RB-2 was a road bike, not sure where the hybrid reference comes from. Are you sure it isn't a different model?
P.S. That fork doesn't look like anything I've seen on an RB-2

I have a RB-2, I could not fit 33c cross tires in it. That fork does not look like an RB-2.

'Tis a 1990 RB-2. Apparently my phone has a new jam today, and admidst the confusion I erased the photo of the bike.

That’s the most interesting RB-2 I’ve seen. Not sure if it is, but seems like it may be a step up from the earlier Tange 2 versions. I’ll toss out $250 +/- $25.

Still fail to see any mention of hybrid. The fork is ugly, that alone would be a turnoff for me. I'm not trying to dis the bike or anything, I'm sure it is still a great rider, just lacks appeal to me for the reason stated.

Never been a fan of unicrown forks, but I love that color and that is a massive amount of clearance. Value depends on the area. Fork might hurt it a bit, but the Bridgestone RB bikes have a cult (even if it's a 2 rather than a 1). Maybe $300? Dunno, maybe that's a bit optimistic since the bottom has dropped out of the C&V market and we're not in the bike shortage we were 2 years ago (and it's coming fall rather than spring).

In the following review of the bike the frame is noted to have clearance for 35c tires. It is also described as "hybrid-like"

I think one would be fine with 32's but a lot of 35's tire wise just wouldn't work both front and rear.

So evidently the unicrown fork _is_ original. Still, I don't see anything "hybrid-like" about a bike with calipers.
