Service Course? And do I spy willow leaf stay ends? If so, that is a great buy. I actually dig the weathered look. Replace that gnarly seat and off you go!

Selling 200 vintage bicycles

"Hope to sell them all for 195 each"

I am reading this as they want $40,000-ish for the whole shebang "Sell them all", making the average price $195? Some will be worth more, some less? If it is really Just $195 a bike, someone should get in a truck and go cherry pick that collection.

Chopper worthy. But I'm thinking there has got to be some catch. I'm a little gun-shy now about things like this that look too good. A couple weeks back I went to go check out a motorcycle that was advertised as 'runs great' and sure enough, couldn't get it running at all. No budging on price, and actually said if they got it running, they'd probably list it for more, after already listing it as 'runs great' and that was after a $500 price reduction! I just don't get some people

But yes, whomever (of us, lol) gets there first, please take some great pictures, tell them it will be free advertising, and let us know the juicy details. I'll take one Schwinn Cimarron, one Bontrager Race Lite, one Voyageur SP, one Galmozzi, and a McLean please

I'm not the least bit familiar with Gitane, but it certainly looks like it would have been a very nice bike at one point in time, definitely worthy of being rescued

My money is on it being a Super Corsa, what with all of that Campy gear hung on it. A Campy headset would guarantee that it was a Super Corsa rather than a TDF.
Pretty dirty, but for $100 it should clean up nicely and be a great deal! Probably a 60cm frame

I messaged about the Lotus. More an admiration so if he responds, I can ask.

I almost scrolled past the ad. Until something in the picture caught my eye. Where’s Waldo? Or rather, where’s Giuseppe?

Dang. I spotted that yesterday, and here it is again. I have no need for it, though I am curious how it rides. Maybe if the price comes down a bit, I might investigate it. I managed to hold off on the Pro we had listed about a month ago, so maybe I can stay away from this one too.

You should get a build thread on this one. Not every day a Super Corsa pops up, and it looks like its got a great ratio of desirability/patina. Will eagerly look forward to this one.

I also hope this is a Super Corsa, but I can't get that fuzzy image to display enough details. However what I do see are Mafac CP calipers and not 100% sure the DO is a Campy 1010A, there's something on the casting that might be a Simplex "S", but might not.
Anyhow even if it's a run of the mill TdF with some Campy NR upgrades:
Congrats!

Yep, it's a Super Corsa! Campy headset and dropouts, etc. OA and Evaporust are on the agenda for this one. Will start a thread for the rehab.
