Doing my part to prop up C&V values
Always wanted some pink steel so have long watched for a ~58cm '87 Schwinn Super Sport or the much harder to obtain 1985 Trek 770. Watched this Super Sport relist a few times on eBay and today I pulled the trigger. With shipping and taxes, I think it would have been a solid deal just two years ago but I'm probably in it a hundred too high in today's market. Oh well, it looks very clean and quite original so if it shows up looking like the pictures, I'm a happy man.

And those black rims look great on it.

You'll like the Super Sport, great ride. My only complaint is that I had to remove the reflectors to get 700x25s in there. I see they've been removed from your example as well.

Looks nice. Not quite in the same league as a Trek 770, but still quite rideable.

That's a whole lotta 'barely ridden' on that Super Sport! Looks great. Rims, unscratched seemingly, really play off the paint job.

That is fabulous. The rims look like they have zero wear. Does it still have those 700x20 Technova tires everyone was using for OEM back then?

I won't lie, I dig bubblegum metallic and also rose colored bikes, only slightly less than I covet electric lime and hot orange metallic bikes.
I'd been eyeballing this one through 6-8 listings now, and I'm still shocked it never sold, aside from the potato quality pics, because it's such a tiny investment. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cool-Vintag...e/193292710295
Looks like the seller won't be relisting again. I think they had it setup to auto-relist for $3 less each round. I posted about it a month or two ago in the CL thread.
Anyway, nice score!
