Dammit, not my size. 
Only $100 and the seller purchased the bike brand new. Schwinn Prelude, 89 or 90, black..
I asked the seller the size of the bike, if had came with 60cm to 62cm, I would have dropped the phone and shot of my drive way to pick it up. But, standover was 32 inches.. Too small for me..

I saw this on the San Diego Craigslist and had to buy it even though it is not my size. An unused 1985 Peugeot PX. There is a small blem on the rear derail. After seeing the blownout front tire, I would geuss someone tried to ride it a few years ago, blew out a 20 year old wolber and crashed. The rear tire still holds air.
This is the bike I lusted after when I first started racing as a junior. At least my wife and son (for a little while) can use it. At the very least I now have a NOS Mavic group, including a bar, stem and seat post.

For sale, a '86 Schwinn Peloton (Columbus SL/SP mix for frame tubes), 21.5 inch frame. equipped with mostly Shimano 105 components, 7 speed cassette. Set up with riser bars for a more upright position. The paint has a lot of cosmetic wear from locking up, etc but the frame is chromed underneath so there is no issue with rust. New cartridge BB, rear wheel. Good city rider.

This frame is quite special, and has quite a history (one that can be verified as I bought the frame from Fernando Cuevas himself).
It was build for Fernando by his grandfather (the legend himself, Francisco Cuevas) in the early 80's and was raced to 2 national championships in 1983 and 1984.
It features custom carved windowed lugs, a cinelli bb (english thread, also custom carved with windows), campagnolo dropouts, chrome flat crown fork (undrilled), blue/white paint job, and tight track racing geometry.
It is made entirely from REYNOLDS 753r steel, which is amazingly rare in its own right, some info about 753...
"Heat-Treated Manganese-Molybdenum. The most exclusive tube set from Reynolds. Essentially 531 made with reduced wall thickness and heat treated to increase tensile strength. UTS: 1080-1280 MPa (70-83 Tsi, 157-186 ksi) Complete tube set of 11 tubes (Frame 8, Fork 3). 753 can only be lugged and fillet-brazed with an alloy of 56% silver below 700 degrees Celsius and sale is restricted only to approved builders certified by Reynolds."
The "r" signifies that it is a "road" tubeset, as it is a larger sized frame, the 753t (track) tubes were not used as they were too thin for a frame this size and would have created a noodly frame.
THE ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS OF THE FRAME ARE: 59cm c-c on the seat tube, 56.5cm c-c on the top tube
I am asking $680 for the frame/fork and the already installed campagnolo nuovo record headset.
I am open to offers and interesting trades, just be reasonable.
