Good news for anyone on the fence about this. It's still available!! How sweet is that. Do you need a facilitator? Maybe wait until the price drops to $3 and then pounce.

Great close-up photos, but where is the overall photo?

And, in case you missed it, the $450 doesn't include the rear wheel.

If this was in the UK I would say it's stolen but I can't speak for the USA

lack of back wheel (probably still chained up somewhere)
No pics of the whole bike (can't be identified)
And a lack of knowledge of the bike (25 speed)

Got to be nicked

This ad on eBay is hilarious, and I dont just mean because the seller is calling the bike a 'Schwinn Trek'. The entire description makes me think he/she has never owned or ridden a bike before..

I think for some people Schwinn is a generic term for a bicycle. I have had a few acquaintances ask me things like "are you still riding your Schwinn to work?".

Have had many people who told me they had an old Schwinn in the basement/garage, and would I be interested in buying it. Have yet to find a Schwinn in their basement/garage!

Usually a beat to death 70's Huffy 3 spd or a rusty Next (Some people have a different definition of old)!

Used to collect trains and it was the same deal with Lionel.

This cyclist put some nice components on a Gitane Gypsy which respectfully to all, I don't think is one of their better models but I would not like to hurt their feelings. Maybe I'm wrong. It looks like the handlebars are the chrome ones the bike came with as well: vintage 1977 Gitane gypsy made in France France

No, not one of the better ones, but I bet it still rides nice. I'd ride it. I just don't think I'd pay a lot of money for it.

One does have to wonder when a bike like that shows up.

Hopefully I'll build a Stayer-style road bike this summer. Perhaps I'll get a few odd looks on the road.

Interesting. It looks like it is built on an almost stock frame.

But, one doesn't need a fancy bike for two to ride.

Somebody made kits to convert standard bikes to sociables and this looks like one of those. There used to be a vendor at Interbike shows who produced and sold them. Interesting to see a solo rider on one.

In case all the many variations on the oval chainring scheme never worked out for you, perhaps the proprietary bent chainring (patent pending) will be the bee's knees:

That's pretty impressive, to strike the chainring right where the crankarm is protecting it...

I'm 67 years old. My knees are bad. My back ain't any better. Built this back in the 70's when my wife wasn't as fat as she is now. I don't have what it takes to pedal her fat ass around anymore & now we got 2 dogs. Not little dogs mind you, Chihuahuas wouldn't be so bad, no we got big dogs that take after the wife. I don't even know if the bike springs can take it anymore - forget my knees. So if you've got a nice young babe you want to haul around please come get this thing. I need it outa my life!!!! P.S. the springs work really well when it's parked!!

The trailer part does not look as real to me but I have seen in pictures, trailers hauled by bikes in that style; usually pictures from the far East.

Probaby an April Fools joke, this webpage has pictures of those kinds of trailers:

This looks like the Far East somewhere:https://loyalkng.com/wp-content/uploa...-bicycle-3.jpg

Beautiful bike. Too bad it is in California. I assume the frame is original from the 30's, but built up with a mix of parts, but not too bad.

SIGH! So many don't know the difference between a BIcycle and a TRIcycle. That one has three wheels and thus is a triycycle NOT a bicycle.

Cheers
