The seat stays seem suspect to me as do the lugs - missing clover pantographs and seat stays missing the normal Colnago caps.

@icemilkcoffee I am not allowed to link or quote yet but I would be happy to contribute if there were continued interest on anything ZH2B or KHS for that matter.

Neat frame.
That need 20” BMX tubulars with Disc brakes and you have a vintage retro minivelo

I wondered about that but because I don't know enough about these, I figured I'd post it and let others decide who know more than me. I did see the fork crown but could be only a sticker.

An honest seller who discloses issues. Having said that it might sit for a bit because of that. Anyone going and looking should check the dent on the top tube. Might be hard to find an orphan Modolo Morphos shifter/brake (see the trade thread on here)

https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/d/...432007350.html

Miyata 1000LT - $185 (Lakewood)Quality vintage bicycle('90) with frame and components in excellent condition with the exception of the right shifter:
-Shimano Deore Dx group with the exception of Modolo Morphos shifter/brake. R shifter is broken.
-Frame/paint in excellent condition except for a couple of small dents in the top tube. Prior treatment with J.P. Weigle internal rust proofing has been done.
-Accessories include a rear rack, Planet Bike full fenders, Selle Italia Trans Am Saddle, and Cateye Astrale computer.
-Available if desired are original brake levers(some damage to the hoods), the broken Modolo R shifter, original bottom bracket with cage bearings, and partial original bar end shifters(R shifter is missing the base that fits into the bar end).

Not a ready to ride bicycle, but a good foundation that could be made rideable with minimal investment/effort.
Located in Lakewood near Kipling and Jewell.

Bike Colnago - $200

I checked with a friend who is an expert on all things Colnago and I knew he would know immediately. This is in fact an early 90's Colnago Super Piu their lower model made with SL tubing. He said the rumor was that Colnago sub'd these out to be built by another builder in Italy. But I looked at some other pics with him of Super Piu's and and the spec's match up on the lug work and brake cable routing. This one may have been repainted at some point due to lack of detail showing on the lugs.

So my understanding is that these came in 3 different sizes. Despite the measurements provided by the seller would you say this is the smallest size frame?

Yes 3 sizes is correct. I am 99% sure this is the middle size 55cm. The smaller size is a 52cm and the top tube and down tube were nearly touching at the head tube.

I apologize, since it has been so many years I did not feel 100% on my previous answer and continued research on it and I was wrong. I found a link for the track version geometry chart. Interesting enough the actual internal engineering document from the factory even though the angles and wheelbase were slightly modified for the track this is enough proof that the 53.5 cm ctc Top tube is the actual smaller of the 3 available sizes. I believe my memory reference was based on the "Pro" frameset built by Lennard Zinn where the larger blade aero tubes nearly touched at the headtube on the small.
Aero Track geometry: Sorry I am being blocked from posting link to chart.

No worries, I appreciate your insight and answers. It's always appreciated around here when someone shows up with actual experience with the old bikes we all like to play with.

This $225 Coventry Eagle in NY could use better photos and maybe a lower price. I see a front Phil hub and maybe some Campy and Cinelli bits.

Posted 20 hrs ago, not sure why it didn't come up when I looked last night. If it comes with spare wheels shouldn't be too bad a price

https://westslope.craigslist.org/bik...432427013.html

1987 Trek 1500/full Shimano 600 road bike - $200 (Pagosa Springs)

This is a 1987 or 86 trek 1500 road bike. Also comes with two spare tires and rims, as well as extra parts, and numerous accessories. I could not add all the photot due to space on ad. Come check it out, and all the extra parts abd accessories come with the bike. Minor repair needed on rear brake line. Feel free to ask any questions, or just come take a look. Thanks

Pretty nice for $350. Anyone in SF looking for a tourer? Looks like very nicer rebuild

Posted ten hrs ago
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik...432628832.html

Handsome Rebuilt 1981 Miyata 1000 Touring Road Commuter-5’9”-6’1” - $350 (mission district)

Versatile and highly regarded vintage steel lugged 57cm 15 speed 1981 Miyata One Thousand touring bike that we just overhauled with some new and updated parts and is ready for an adventure.

Handbrazed in Japan with lightweight double butted Tange Champion cro-moly tubing with forged Suntour dropouts, fancy cut out lugwork, braze-ons for racks and fenders, and quality components.

We took this down to the bare frame, rattle canned with new dove grey paint, and then rebuilt with more modern aero brake levers, more modern shallower drop bars, beautiful forged Nitto stem, new cables and housing, new brake pads, new chain, new cloth bar wrap freshly shellacked and finished with twine.

Headset and bottom bracket bearings cleaned and packed with fresh grease. Everything is adjusted, tightened, cleaned, and tuned.

With stable touring geometry, wide range gearing for hill climbing, incredibly strong cantilever brakes, bomber 36 spoke wheels, rack braze-ons and clearance for fenders, this bike can be your everyday commuter, your grocery getter, your overnight camping bike, or take you on a loaded tour.

I can’t say enough good things about how this bike rides and handles, it has a dreamy supple feel but is still very responsive and alive. This is a coveted model for a reason!

The paint we did looks classy but is not a perfect job, it’s a legendary frame and deserving of a professional powder coat or paint job some day if you feel like it but it is fine as is now. We didn’t install new tires to keep the price lower but these have good tread.

This bike has a shorter top tube than seat tube for an easier reach to the handlebars. Will fit a long legged 5’9” to an average or shorter legged 6’1”, with a sweet spot about 5’11” or 6’.

$350 with a different but good saddle, does not include Brooks B17 in photos.

new Jagwire brake cable and housing
new Jagwire derailleur cable and housing
new SRAM PC 850 chain
new front and rear brake pads
updated Cane Creek aero brake levers
updated Nitto Dynamic forged alloy stem
updated Soma shallow drop bars

nice Edco or White Industries front hub, Wolber Super Champion polished rim
Sunshine Gyro-Master rear hub, Araya polished rim
Shimano cantilever brakes
Suntour Cyclone M-II front and rear derailleurs, downtube shifters
SR Super Apex 170mm forged alloy triple cranks
MKS Sylvan touring pedals (we have clips and straps too!)
SR Laprade fluted alloy seatpost
Tange Falcon headseat (cleaned and repacked)

seat tube center to center 57cm (22.5”)
top tube center to center 55cm (21.75”)
standover height 33” (84cm)
chainstays 43cm, wheelbase 101cm
72Ί head and seat tube angles
Suntour GS forged w/ adjusters
front & rear eyelets, rear rack braze-on, low boy bosses on forks
serial number on bb shell J809108

I’m flexible and can meet you near 24th St BART or at Grocery Outlet on S. Van Ness near 24th st, at the Potrero Center Safeway/Petco parking lot on 16th St, or the Chase Center in Mission Bay.
Thanks!

Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes with this one but I snagged it. All I saw were comments about "love to have it but..." I keep saying no more projects but figured why not one more? In my mind I was seeing the neglect on this one yet picturing a nicely polished purple frame with shiny silver bits and white saddle and tape. Pretty sure it's even too small for me but maybe this will be this years gift to the bike coop. Or maybe it does fit and I love the ride. You never know. Now I'm just hoping the seller can actually ship it well as the frame looks pretty clean. One final challenge....

Not at all! At least, not me! I posted it here in hopes that somebody who would treat it right would buy it. Have fun building it up!

Pretty sure it's even too small for me but maybe this will be this years gift to the bike coop. Or maybe it does fit and I love the ride. You never know. Now I'm just hoping the seller can actually ship it well as the frame looks pretty clean. One final challenge....
The Salvador Dali frame has been claimed.
