IGH questions

I am considering alternatives for the Shimano Nexus 8 IGH on a Breezer Downtown with horizontal dropouts I converted to an ebike with a Bafang BBS01 mid-drive . I was contemplating either Enviolo cargo or Shimano Nexus Inter-5e. Both appear to be stronger and able to take the torque of the motor. Are there particular issues with mounting the Enviolo? I seem to recall reading somewhere the action of shifting tends to pull on the hub which can loosen belt tension but my frame doesnt have a frame break to mount a belt and I dont want to use the Veer split belt so I would use a standard chain and sprocket. All advice much appreciated.

I have a bike with the Enviolo NuVinci N330 hub. It's seductively smooth both in shifting action and in operation.

There wasn't anything special about mounting it vis-à-vis my Sturmey AW, Sturmey XRK8W, Sturmey RX-RF5, Shimano Nexus 8, Shimano Alfine 11 or Rohloff hubs.

Shift cable pull the hub out of alignment? Uh, no.

Yeah that sounded unlikely but someone on another forum mentioned possibly using the Surly Hurdy Gurdy chain tensioner on the semi horizontal dropouts on my frame. Good to know you like your N330, I have enjoyed using it on Capital Bikeshare ebikes in the DC area so am leaning toward Enviolo

And done, thanks to my local bike shop, QBP supplied the hub. Onward and upward
