ride patches

How many here still have some? How many dont know what they are? I started collecting them in the early 90s; my last one is from 2007. Share your experiences.

I have some old event T-shirts with holes in them. Does that count?
I have never even seen a patch given out for a bike event.

Used to get them at LAW rallies and Tandem rallies. I have a 1993 LAW rally patch pinned to my bulletin board. People used to cover their windbreakers with them. Never saw the point; they were just another give away along with T-shirts, jerseys, tote bags, etc.

They were a thing in the early ‘90 at least. I had a few. Eventually tossed them.

Obviously we need to get some of these "event" rides to give out patches so we can fix our old t-shirts.

When I was kid in boy scouts I had patches. Then you grow up and become an adult.
